These terms govern NetBlade for Windows (on the Microsoft Store). By installing or using the app you accept them. The agreement is between you and Innovatek Software: Microsoft distributes the app and sells the subscription but is not a party to these terms. NetBlade for Android and for iPhone are separate products with their own terms.
Who provides the app
NetBlade is developed and published by Innovatek di Cafaro Carmelina (Innovatek Software), VAT IT06424410659, info@innovateksoftware.com. The Microsoft Store Terms of Sale apply to the subscription as well; on purchases and refunds, Microsoft's rules prevail.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use NetBlade on the Windows PCs you own or control, with the Microsoft account that obtained it and within the limits the Microsoft Store sets. The app is licensed to you, not sold. You may not rent, resell, redistribute or decompile it, or try to derive its source code, except where the law does not allow that restriction.
Permitted use and your responsibility
NetBlade finds devices, open ports, services, vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses, and inventories the PCs of your network. Use it only on networks and equipment you own or are explicitly authorised to administer. Scanning someone else's network, reaching devices with credentials that are not yours, or using the app to get around security measures may be a civil or criminal offence in your country, and the responsibility is entirely yours.
You are responsible for the credentials you enter in the app (Windows, SSH, SNMP) and for the consequences of the operations you start on your own equipment. Reports, compliance checks and vulnerability lists are aids to your judgement, not a certification.
The background agent
NetBlade for Windows includes an agent that starts when you sign in to Windows and keeps monitoring, alerts and scheduled inventory running while you are signed in, even with the window closed. It does not run as a Windows service and stops when you sign out. You can turn it off in Windows Settings › Apps › Startup.
NetBlade Pro: subscription and free trial
NetBlade for Windows is used with the NetBlade Pro subscription, monthly or yearly, sold by the Microsoft Store. Without an active subscription the app opens on the subscription page, and only the settings stay available. The price, in your currency, is the one the Microsoft Store shows before you confirm.
The first time you subscribe, the Microsoft Store may offer a free trial; it needs a payment method to start. If you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription continues as a paid one.
Renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and Microsoft charges the payment method on your Microsoft account, unless you turn off recurring billing. You can manage or cancel it at any time at account.microsoft.com/services, which the app's subscription page opens. Cancelling stops the next renewal: the period already paid stays usable until it ends.
Payments and refunds
Payment is handled entirely by Microsoft: Innovatek never receives or stores payment data, and there is no server of ours behind the subscription. Refunds are requested from Microsoft, under the Microsoft Store refund policy; we have no technical way to issue them. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the withdrawal rights the law gives you are honoured through Microsoft. A subscription bought on the Microsoft Store does not unlock NetBlade on Android or iPhone.
Support and updates
Support for NetBlade is provided by Innovatek alone, at info@innovateksoftware.com; Microsoft has no maintenance or support obligation for the app. Updates are delivered through the Microsoft Store. We publish them when there is reason to, without promising a frequency or that any single feature will stay available: some depend on Windows capabilities or third-party sources that can change.
Warranties
NetBlade is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that it is free of errors, that it works without interruption or that it fits a particular purpose. What a scan reports — names, vendors, flagged vulnerabilities, compliance results, the network map — are indications drawn from network protocols and public sources, to be checked before a decision that matters. Consumers' statutory rights are unaffected.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Innovatek is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data, business interruption, or damage arising from operations you carry out on your own equipment through the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury, nor consumers' non-waivable rights.
Claims and intellectual property
Innovatek, not Microsoft, is responsible for handling claims about NetBlade — product conformity, legal requirements, consumer protection — and any third-party claim that the app infringes their intellectual property. The app's code, graphics and trademarks belong to Innovatek or to their respective owners. Vulnerability data comes from the NVD, CISA KEV and FIRST EPSS: this product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
Changes
We may update these terms, for instance when the app's features or the Microsoft Store's rules change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its date at the top. If the price of a running subscription changes, the Microsoft Store tells you beforehand, under its own rules.
Privacy
How data is handled is described in the privacy policy of NetBlade for Windows, at netblade.app/privacy/windows/, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the mandatory rules of your country of residence and the jurisdiction of the courts where you live still apply, and you may turn to the alternative dispute resolution bodies available in your legal system.
